On June 28, 2025, in order to actively implement the “Belt and Road Initiative”, Qu Fuwei, the general manager of Debont (Wuhu) Agricultural Machinery Co., LTD., held talks with Nariman Tolekaliyev, the governor of West Kazakhstan Province, at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China and signed a bilateral cooperation memorandum.

The memorandum aims to promote the sustainable development of agricultural irrigation in West Kazakhstan, including irrigation technology training, supply of irrigation systems and provision of comprehensive solutions, and to assist in enhancing local agricultural product exports.

Debont will take Kazakhstan as a hub to further deepen the agricultural science and technology cooperation between China and Kazakhstan along the “Belt and Road”. Meanwhile, Debont will also continue to increase its investment in research and development, promote the continuous innovation and upgrading of water-saving irrigation technologies, and make greater contributions to the sustainable development of agriculture in China and Kazakhstan.
